Whipped Yams | |
| These are great anytime, not just when serving turkey or ham. Anyone who says they don't like yams or sweet potatoes, will thoroughly enjoy this dish. It tastes almost like it should be a dessert. | |
| 2 lbs yams, cooked and peeled | 1 teaspoon salt |
| ¼ teaspoon nutmeg | ½ teaspoon softened butter |
| ½ teaspoon pepper | 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk |
| 6 orange shells (optional) | Parsley sprigs for the fancy people |
| 1 After cooking yams, add butter, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mash with electric mixer. 2 Gradually add in the Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk. 3 If you desire to get fancy, spoon the yams into orange shells and garnish with a parsley sprig.
